Thanks for your continued prayers for my daughter-in-law Beth. Itll be two weeks tomorrow since she was put in ICU with brain strokes on both sides of her brain. She is making good progress. Her temperature is finally back to normal and she is no longer sedated. This is the first day we feel she recognized us and is now following some simple commands. She squeezed my hand when I asked her to and blinked twice when I asked her to, and repeated. The nurse says shes following some commands also which is incredible given her initial assessment. She is still on the ventilator but she is breathing more than half on her own. They are going to put a trach and PEG tube in tomorrow and that will be a lot more comfortable for her. Thanks again for your prayers and Ill be updating everyone again soon on her progress.
