Thanks to the best SAG team ever : Captain Stuart Lazarus, Kathy and Mike Donlon, Sally Feeney, Andrew Cecil and Angela Delgado Fifer. They were simply magnificent . Barbara Gehle, contributed wonderful rice treats and chocolate dipped banana bites, and made up our beds for us while we tried to scrape off layers or perspiration , salt and sunscreen off our fragrant bodies. Thanks to Jen Cooper, Jj Good and Susan Brown for waiting and cheering us home. They scooped our bikes out of our weary and shaking hands, showed us wear to check in and joined us in a day 1 post mortem over pizza. It was great to run into friends like Robert Lane, James Decker and Sarah Karl as we ride. The safety forces were fabulous today, as were the hundreds or people who shook cow bells, held up signs they had made and wished us well. And a shout out to the other members of the Girls With Gears who were so welcoming and supportive at the finish line. Such an amazing day.
