Thanks to everyone who bid on my sports loyalties over the last few weeks. Y’all raised $1461!!!! Also, mad props to Warren Riley for chipping in with a $100 donation for me to be a Henry John Deutschendorf, Jr. (a.k.a. John Denver) fan for 2015. I also hereby acknowledge that Tennis is a sport, even if those guys never fight on the court or kick dirt on the umps like Earl Weaver. So here is how it all breaks down: As of 1/1/15 I will be an ardent supporter of the Dallas Cowboys, Montreal Canadiens, Chennai Super Kings, Roger Federer, William & Mary sports, the University of Miami football team, the Carlton Blues (Aussie football), the New York Mets, the Baltimore Stinking Orioles, Liverpool, Valencia (La Liga), the San Jose Earthquakes, the Oklahoma City Thunder, Durham Bulls, and a professional wrestler of Tim BName’s choice. Big thanks to Jay Janger, Nico Johnson, Ross Lord, Jill Marie Lord, Mike Shumann, Rachael Simon Proper, Noah Mamber, Brian Kobil, Mark Silcox, Lisa Hermelin, James Newton, Richard Dansky, Jessica DellEra and anyone I may have missed (its hard to track all of this on Facebook!!!) And for the record, next Sunday will be my last chance for a full year to cheer for Washington, who will be playing Dallas!
