Thats me eventually gotten round to sticking up my YES on my window! Lol getting excited about voting! This will actually be the first time since I turned 16 that I will be voting, and that is because this is the first time since turning 16 that I feel like my vote counts. I love Scotland and I am a very proud Scottish woman, I consider myself very lucky to be alive now, at this time, when a vote of yes is all it takes for Scots to be in charge of our own beautiful country. We live in one of the most incredible countries in the world, rich in history and beauty with so much to offer the world. In fact, even Alex Salmond makes me damn proud to be Scottish. Love him or hate him you cannot deny this mans tenacity, for years he has been fighting for this moment. I remember when I was younger thinking, what a plonker, independence? Not if hes the one in charge! Now? Now I have to applaud this man for fighting this long, for enduring all the bullshit over the years and still holding strong to his belief that we can govern ourselves when even we ourselves didnt believe it. He has given us a chance and I for one intend to make it count. Whichever way you vote this month make sure its the decision right for you, what you believe is right for this country and for our kids and grandkids. This will become an important part of our countries history, be proud of your vote.
