The 2014 season saw 11 former San Jose Giants make their major league debuts – tied for the second-most in team history in a single year. Highlights included Joe Panik emerging as San Francisco’s everyday second baseman after a midseason call-up, Andrew Susac and Matt Duffy providing quality depth to the Giants position player ranks and Hunter Strickland dazzling as a late-inning reliever during the stretch run.
