The 20m27d today: I prepared yogurt cheese omelette, some - TopicsExpress

The 20m27d today: I prepared yogurt cheese omelette, some watermelon & egg less banana raisin cupcake for her brekkie. After waking up, she was only interested in the watermelon. She sat faraway from me at the dining table to avoid me feeding her (I think). I just let it be and kept the omelette and cupcake in separate containers. After showering, she requested the container of omelette which she ate half. She wanted to go to the kitchen and not sure what she wanted. I said no angrily (plus mumbling to her - that she had to eat what mummy prepared) and of course, she cried. Showing me her teary eyes, she said saak meaning she wanted raisins. Well, so I just gave her Sunmaid raisins before we went out to my aunts house. On the way, she requested for mam mam, I showed her the choice of honeydew and cupcake, and she choose the cupcake. She finished all of it. And on the way back - after playing in the playground, she ate honeydew. She nursed to nap and woke up around 3pm for lunch. Lunch was sweet corn mee hoon kueh with minced pork. She initially did not want to eat, even pushing away the bowl and some soup split! *patience* I just let it be and then try feeding her - she drank some soup and took few pieces of the flour and then started her nonsense of climbing up and down. She went to the other chair and I fed her again - up till a point, she ran to her play area - I screamed BABY (mummys EQ tested already) - she was so scared that she ran back to the dining table crying and then open her mouth for me to feed her. Thereafter, she sat beside me while playing the figurines while I spoon fed her. I asked her if she wants watermelon, she said yes and I cut it. For watermelon, she self fed herself. I still continue to feed her the lunch up till the point she said enough - at the end, she had more than half. Well, I never want to use force in making her eat but I think she needs to learn to control herself from being distracted from her surrounding when it is mealtime (especially if she needs to take in food to grow up healthily). I seriously dont know the correct method but I would continue to experiment..... If you have been following me, the past 8 months feeding her has been easy - but not now... :( and I am trying my best to remain calm *Namaste* Recipes: Yogurt cheese omelette - 1 tbsp Farmers Union Greek Style Natural Yogurt, 1 egg, 1 tsp Coon Extra tasty cheese Egg less banana raisin cupcake - 17chipmunks.wordpress/2014/09/24/egg-less-banana-raisin-cupcakes/ Sweet corn mee hoon kueh: Sweet corn dough - fresh sweet corn blended with some water, all purpose flour, corn flour, olive oil, pinch of salt Soup - apple cucumber soup, remaining ( 17chipmunks.wordpress/2014/09/24/egg-noodles-in-crabmeat-sauce-for-my-20m25d/) Minced pork - marinated in orange juice and stir fry with onion and olive oil Vegetable: Butterhead
