The 20th Anniversary World Tour of Riverdance kicks off in Limerick from the 16th to 19th January 2014 as a major part of the Limerick National City of Culture 2014. We are delighted to host this magnificent show but it does have some implication for you our valued customer. I hope you understand that your support and co-operation will help deliver a great Limerick welcome to the show which will be enjoyed by 17,000 people over the seven shows. Major changes to our regular service include: Sports Hall activities such as Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton and Indoor Football, will not take place for the full week from Saturday 11th to Sunday 19th January 2014 inclusive. Sports Hall Fitness Classes including Ritchie’s ‘Total Body Work Out’, Track Attack, TRX, & Kettlebells will not take place for the full week from Saturday 11th to Sunday 19th January 2014 inclusive. Early closing of the UL Sport Arena for Thursday and Friday 16th and 17th January will take place at 17:45 while Saturday we will close at 10:45 to cater for three shows and Sunday we will close at 13:45 to cater for the double show itinerary. Dry side squad and changing rooms plus corridor will be given over to the Riverdance cast from 12:00 Tuesday 14th January 2014, however Swimming Pool Dressing rooms are available throughout the week. The Gym will be open at 07:45 to 10:45 on Saturday and 10:00 to 13:45 on Sunday. Aquatics : For the week Swim lessons will take place as normal. We really appreciate your support and apologise for the inconvenience over the week. We hope you understand the reasons why we need to modify your access during the historic Riverdance performance.
