The Appraisal District has recently mailed Wildlife Management and Miscellaneous property tax exemption reapply letters to owners with such exemptions. Please contact our office if you have any questions. Wildlife Management use appraisal application forms Due March 1, 2015 In order to qualify for Wildlife Management Use Appraisal the land must be actively used in at least three (3) of the following ways to propagate a sustaining, breeding, migrating or wintering population of indigenous wild animals for human use: 1) Habitat Control 2) Erosion Control 3) Predator Control 4) Providing supplemental supplies of water 5) Providing supplemental supplies of food 6) Providing shelters 7) Making census counts to determine population To verify your use of the property for Wildlife Management Appraisal, the Appraisal District is requesting you complete the attached Texas Parks and Wildlife annual report of Wildlife Management and return the completed application to our office by March 1, 2014.
