The BRT female invites the male to play by bowing in a soft, appealing, and flirty way and then running away smiling, looking over her shoulder as if to say get me! The male, dumb brute that he is, instantly says game on and runs after her. they run through the yard chasing each other, jumping and play biting, rolling on the ground in wild abandon. Then suddenly the switch is flipped. The female is done playing. If the hapless, ignorant male doesnt read her oh so subtle signals then that soft, sweet appearing female turns into a ferocious beast capable of putting the much bigger male, who weighs close to 50 lbs more than her, down on the ground, or sending him running for his life with his tail, or nub, between his legs. Does the poor male, dumb brute that he is, ever learn the lesson- DO NOT underestimate the female BRT and DO NOT in any circumstance EVER, EVER, EVER make her angry? No he doesnt.
