The Caldwell County Office of Emergency Management has been in constant contact with the North Pole to make sure Santa has clear routes into Caldwell County tonight. Radar communication has been established between the County Emergency Operations Center and NORAD (North American Air Defense) to relay Santas location to the Caldwell County Sheriffs Deputies, Constables as well as the Lockhart PD, Luling PD, Mustang Ridge PD and Martindale PD. All county fire departments will be on watch for Santa as his sleigh moves about the county: Chisholm Trail Fire Rescue, Dale Volunteer Fire Dept. (DVFD), Maxwell Community Volunteer Fire Department, Lockhart Fire Rescue, Mid-County County Fire/Rescue, McMahan VFD, Tri-Community VFD Fentress TX, Southeast Caldwell County VFD, Delhi Volunteer Fire Department, Martindale Vol. Fire Department and Luling Volunteer Fire Department.
