The City of Scottsbluff wishes to remind residents that removing snow from sidewalks is required by Ordinance. Snow must be removed within five hours of the end of a storm event or by 8:30 a.m. if the storm takes place during the night. The City will be inspecting and issuing citations for compliance to assure pedestrians, especially school children, can move safely throughout the community. Cleared sidewalks are critically important to keep pedestrians off the streets and out of harm’s way.
