The Compassion of Allah’s Prophet ﷺ Habib Husayn al-Saqqaf - TopicsExpress

The Compassion of Allah’s Prophet ﷺ Habib Husayn al-Saqqaf (may Allah preserve him and benefit us by him), is currently visiting Australia. Here are some of his reflections on the compassion of Allah’s Prophet ﷺ: You cannot find a heart more merciful than the heart of the Prophet ﷺ. Did you know that the Prophet ﷺ prayed for you, for us as an Ummah more than his own self? When he met his Lord, he remembered his Ummah. He did not forget us at any moment. So how can we not remember him? How can we forget him? Let us try to be like the Ansar, who waited in Madinah, yearning for his arrival. Then when you meet him on the Day of Judgement imagine how that meeting will be. How many times did the Prophet ﷺ weep over people who died without entering Islam? How many times have we cried when a non-Muslim has passed away? How would the Prophet ﷺ address people who commit atrocities in the name of Islam or in his name? He would outwardly show his displeasure and correct their actions. Once Sayyiduna Khalid ibn Walid mistakenly killed some Muslims. When the Prophet ﷺ heard of this and he became angry. He said: “Oh Allah, I absolve myself from what Khalid has done.” Then he sent Sayyiduna `Ali to the families of those who had been killed and paid them all blood money.
