The Day The World Stood Still- How can anyone ever forget that day- We never will, though we hope and pray- For awhile our lives turned into fear- Fear for all mankind- fear for those that we hold dear- I remember the moment as I stood in the Hospital by my Mothers side, who was verty ill, so my fear I must hide- I thought for a moment it was the end, but I was there holding the hand of my best friend. My Mother recovered, but most of us never will- to think of the lives lost- gives me a chill-to think of families torn apart-the terrible agony in their hearts. We will always remember the brave and the strong who sacrificed their lives to try to right a wrong. the terrorist thought they could bring us down, but they underestimated America, who wears the crown. We who have faith, courage and are united will never yeild to those who are uninvited.- We all see life alittle differently nowWe hold life more closely and we humbly bow to God, our savior, who watches over us- On him we depend-to help us- to trust that there will never be another 9/11 and to take care of those who are now in heaven- God Bless America!
