The Electoral Commission of Zambia is today expected to meet presidential candidates from all participating political parties. The presidential candidates will meet with ECZ Chairperson Ireen Mambilima for a briefing at Mulungushi International Conference Centre from 09:30 Hours. The candidates are expected to be briefed on the progress that the Commission is making towards the successful holding of the January 20 2015 presidential poll. It will however be interesting to see which candidate will turn up for the MMD and the PF as the two political parties are currently engulfed in bitter leadership disputes. Last week, ECZ Chairperson Ireen Mambilima warned the two political parties to resolve their wrangles as there would be no extension to the elections calendar.
