The Exclusivity of the Gospel 1 Corinthians 15:1-5 The gospel is - TopicsExpress

The Exclusivity of the Gospel 1 Corinthians 15:1-5 The gospel is exclusive in nature. It is not a gospel but the gospel that Paul preached: the only gospel; the only good news; not one of many (v.1). Jesus Himself said, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me (Jn.14:6) and I am the door: by Me if any man enter in, he shall be saved (Jn.10:9). Over and over again, the Holy Spirit insists that only one means of redemption exists-through the blood of Christ (1 Pet.1:18-19). Peter proclaimed that there is only one name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Friends, there can be no doubt whatsoever on this matter; Gods Word is clear in John 3:36; He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. Contrary to the Scriptures, however, man continues to insist that there are many ways to God, all consisting of works that man performs in order to be acceptable to God. The sad truth is that the Lord has already openly addressed this matter and found man wanting; All our righteousness are are as filthy rags (Isa.64:6); not by works of righteousness which we have done (Titus 3:5); for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God (Rom.3:23). Man simply has no hope of salvation through his own efforts, for he falls short of Gods righteous demand for holiness. Is there, then, no hope whatsoever? Does this news leave us dismayed and derelict, with no help in sight? No! God sent His own beloved Son, the Lamb of God, who paid sins penalty and now offers eternal life to all who will believe (Jn.1:29). Receive Him today! God Save the World, Inc.
