The Flat Dwellers, a full length play by Nhimbe SPAA will premier at Amakhosi Cultural Centre on Sunday 8 June at 4pm. The play is written by Raisedon Baya and co-directed with Memory Kumbota. It is produced by Josh Nyapimbi. Flat Dwellers is a fast paced and humourous take on life in Zimbabwe focus on three single yet different characters living as neighbours at a local city flat. The play looks at the economy of the country, love, survival and relationships. Nhimbe SPAA is a schools programme that identifies talented actors, writers and offers them training during weekends. Currently the class of 2014 has students from Gifford High, Entumbane High, Mzilikazi High, Nketa High, Msiteli High, Canrose College, Magwegwe High and other local colleges.
