The Gaslight Anthem influence this project quite heavily as does the music of Jack White, Dallas Green and a couple of others to mention. But well focus on THE GASLIGHT ANTHEM for the time being. I only discovered this band about 2 years back roughly a month before the release of Handwritten. Brian Fallon with his iconic voice that is solely unique although on first listening to them you wouldnt think hed be best suited to being a lead singer of a band, but he just has a mesmerising effect on me personally. Although he isnt the best singer, the feeling and raw emotion that floods through every gaslight anthem song, is something to be desired for every band/song. The song below a prime example. I hope that once I have the music recorded that itll portray the emotion thats gone into it, every song has a story, every song is like a scar or a tattoo, something thats once created will always be there in one way or another, that will link back to how I felt when I wrote the lyrics or the melody and be a way of never forgetting the important circumstances that have influenced life and living as well as the music.
