The Grand Budapest Hotel- Watched it last week...loved it even though i got stuck in the front row all the way on the right. Wes Anderson has an uncanny ability to take a fascinating idea for a story, take out all, all, all of the things you expect, then make it a great story all the same. Reminiscent but never cliche, and delightful. Had all of the cameos you would want, as well as great lead and supporting work by Ralph Fiennes (expected) and Tony Revolori (surprising). Willem Dafoe and Jeff Goldblum also stood out, particularly in my favorite scene, which involved a dark museum of antiquities and the ends of several fingers.
