If you view this purely as a racial issue, youre fooling yourself. This is also a class issue. This is a liberty issue. This is a human rights issue. Police officers who shoot (6 times) and kill unarmed citizens and leave them lying dead in the street for over four hours are not serving your interests, no matter how irrational your fear of Black men tells you they are. Incidents like these and many others have signified the donning of a new age - one that is eerily reminiscent of authoritarian societies gone by, draped with violently oppressive, daily interactions between agents of government and the citizenry, and dripping of fascistic notions built upon a culture of militarism, racism and war. A violence historically reserved for the most disenfranchised of the population - and ignored by most of the rest - is destined to extend itself beyond the oppressive structures of old, transcending targeted demographics to include a working-class-wide assault. This has already begun. Class war is upon us. It comes in many forms - whether its bankers attacking your pension, politicians attacking your civil liberties, bosses attacking your paycheck, or police officers attacking and killing your working-class sisters and brothers in the street. Stand for freedom. Stand for liberty. Stand for the working class. Stand against street executions by police. In solidarity.
