The ISPs have been collecting fees for years to build out services but have never even pretended to do any actual work. What they HAVE done is lobby corrupt governments to pass laws to prevent cities from providing the services they have no intention of providing AND, in a huge surprise move, they have petitioned Congress to let them keep those billions of dollars without doing any of the work. They should all eat shit and die.
