The International Community and the United Nations Must Fulfill Their Duty! An International Official recently said: “the people need to wake up, the people need to wake up and fight back, and things aren’t going to change until the people rise up, and overthrow this criminal regime that the Cambodians are victims of. …” He is 100% correct vis a vis our Khmer people’s struggle for Freedom from the Old CPP/Hun Sen Regime. However, what he and the International Community (IC) and the United Nations (UN) have overlooked and/or ignored since the UNTAC time in the early 1990s is the strong control of Vietnam over Cambodia that the IC and UN must help our weak Khmer nation to fight back for our National Integrity and sovereignty. Now, the Khmer People Have Risen Up and Fight! AND We Must Do IT TOGETHER With the IC and the UN! The IC/UN Must Stop Cooperating with and Condoning this CPP/Hun Sen “Criminal Regime” and their Patron State of Vietnam. In fact, it is the Duty of Both the Khmer People and the IC and the UN: The Khmer People Must fight for their own Rights/freedom from the most corrupt, brutal and self-serving CPP/Hun Sen government While the International Community and the United Nations Must Help Cambodia Fight off a Stronger Nation from Annexing a Weaker One as They had started With the Paris Peace Agreement and the UNTAC in Cambodia in the 1990s. We Khmer People and the IC/UN Cannot Compromise with this CPP/Hun Sen Regime and their Patron Vietnam, as General de Gaulle once replied to General Eisenhower in London during their 1940s united efforts to liberate France and Europe as to why he was always so rigid and uncompromising, that “We Cannot Compromise when Our National Integrity and People’s Freedom are at stake.” A compromise with them in 1993 has cost Cambodia and the world tremendous/ unprecedented losses of great human and natural resources as well as funding and Time. It has led the situation in Cambodia from bad to worse and finally to this unimaginable shame to Cambodia and the whole world. A Compromise with them again now is not only shameful But surely helping them to Go On Crushing the Khmer People and Eliminating Cambodia as a Nation. It would be completely defeating the whole World’s Efforts and Purposes of the Comprehensive Peace and Settlement for Cambodia in Paris 1991. The International Community and the United Nations must not compromise with them again now but Must Successfully Complete their Mission in Cambodia! 1 February 2014
