The LAST thing I want on my Facebook page is some homogenized group of people who all think alike. I tell you that because at least once a week so someone posts or writes me asking why I let people who continually disagree with me post on my page or why (in some cases) Im even (gasp!) friends with these people (some in real life!) who do NOT agree with me on health, religion etc. Let me give it to you straight : If you come to a party I throw, it will be the most diverse group of people you could imagine. Last one we had a scientist, a doctor, a Native American Indian healer, a Buddhist, an atheist, a born again Christian, pro vaxers, anti vaxers, gay people straight people, different races religions creeds etc. The LAST thing I want on my Facebook page is some homogenous boring bland group where Ive banned all the ones who dont agree. Sure Im into like minded people, but with 8k+ people on this personal page there are going to be some who flat out think my ideas are whacked. And some of those people are my own family. Weve successfully disagreed for decades now and even had rational intelligent discussions as to why we disagree and each making our own point. That is what I love about this page. Id rather not have one at all if everyone were in agreement with me. I used to moderate a website with millions of people from all different walks of life. But it taught me to respect each and every persons opinion which is all I ask people to do here. So long as you dont name call and actually can intelligently state your opinion then Im thrilled to have you. That is all. I just had to make myself clear (again) on this... Im so thrilled for the diversity in the world for how fracking boring it would be if we all... thought.... just.... alike... Hey and sometimes we can even open someones mind on this page. I know people have done so for me on my own page and thats why I love a good (even heated) discussion and love all of you. For reals. K, Thats all.
