The ‘Local Plate’ Competition Mudgee Fine Foods ‘Local Plate’ competition commences this Friday and runs until 19 September. Sixteen local eateries have entered and are in the running for the Champion Local Plate trophy. View the ‘Local Plate’ participating eateries and their competition dishes. Every diner that rates the dish goes in the draw to win a fabulous Weekend of Food and Wine in Mudgee....already live in Mudgee? The prize is transferable, which would make you a very popular friend or you could really indulge and stay at Putta Bucca B & B yourself! Local Produce Tasting Each Thursday and Friday (2pm – 4.30pm) during September some of our local producers will be offering free tastings at the Mudgee Visitor Information Centre (84 Market St Mudgee). This Friday and next Friday Linda’s Chilli Relish will be offering tastings. Next Thursday Martins Hill Wines will be offering visitors tasting. Mudgee Region Tourism
