The Moon in Taurus this morning moves to trine Mars (who is opposing Neptune today), and then conjoin the south node of the moon before trining Pluto and opposing Saturn. The action picks up right where we left off yesterday, although the energy shouldnt be nearly as intense as it was building up to last nights eclipse. Today the Moon brings up the past, and it asks us to look very closely at what we have rather than what were lacking in life. While change is an inevitable part of the future, and we may still be feeling that very acutely right now, there is always something of the past that carries with us very positively into the future. In the first thirty years of our life, before our first Saturn return, its as though all of our experiences are rather open ended...like a dream world...were living without a hard realization of time. Some people say children are all about freedom but really they are asking for boundaries. I think the Dog Whisperer essentially says the same thing about dogs, so lets be careful here......the point being that when it comes to Saturn were talking about the process of slowly finding what defines and gives our life its distinct shape and form. Today is a day where we will come into very close contact with the past ways in which weve defined ourselves...well come right up against the old shapes and definitions weve assumed in our lives, and then well also be given a glimpse at some of the definition thats coming our way...some of the shape thats going to come through in our own lives in the not too distant future. While this can be nostalgic and exciting, we also have to be careful not to get swept away by delusions or illusions about what is possible. With Mars opposite Neptune there is also the feeling of being on a holy quest right now...of having to brave or weather a vast ocean of possibilities. The dreams and visions we may have for ourselves today are in some ways nothing more than the muscle of hope pulling us one paddle stroke at a time through the waves of change and uncertainty. The way things turn out will likely be much different than wherever we think were heading at just this moment. So, message for the day: be in it. Love where youre at. Love where youve been. Love the things that have given your life shape and definition thus far. And when you see the stormy or uncertain future, dont be afraid...hope and vision are at your side.....its not about WHERE hope and vision will steer you, its about the fact that for right now, in this moment, they ARE steering you. :-)
