The Muslim Students Society of Nigeria (Egor LGA chapter) Edo State, have given their support to Family Planning. In a community group meeting held separately for both male and female members of the society at the S&T Barracks Mosque recently, the leader of the group Dr Lateef Adeyemo, a PHD holder at the Department of Religious Studies, University of Benin said that Family Planning should be embraced by every family. Similarly, his wife and leader of the female group, Fatimah Adeyemo, pledged her support for Family Planning among the women and said that the message would be communicated to members of the group that were not in attendance. As a well to increase sensitization of members, Dr. Adeyemo promised to link Nigeria Urban Reproductive Health Initiative(NURHI) with Oredo & Ikpoba-Okha chapters of the society.
