Gracie is one of approximately 16,000 Semifinalists in the program. Semifinalists are the highest scoring entrants in each state. Gracie will continue on in the 2014 competition for National Merit Scholarship awards. • Gillian Anderson (SHS), Jennifer Bailey (SHS), Emily Banas (GPHS), Eric Engel (SHS), Adam Good (GPHS), Taylor Hallock (GPHS), Lauren Linvog (SHS) and Jeffrey Pratt (GPHS) have been named Commended Scholars by the National Merit Scholarship Program. Although they will not continue in the 2014 competition for National Merit Scholarship awards, Commended Students are among the top 5% of more than 1.5 million students who entered the competition.
