The New Power At Ibrox Posted on August 20, 2013 by billmcmurdo The Easdales look set to become the dominant force at Ibrox once the boardroom battles have subsided. They have quietly gone about building a shareholding that should see them obtain a significant power base at Rangers, something in itself which could quell the turbulence sweeping the club at present. The Easdales are well-known for running businesses on a ruthlessly efficient scale, slashing costs and maximising profits. This is something which football needs in general and traditionally big-spending Rangers need in particular. Also, those who have used every smear and trick imaginable to run Charles Green and Imran Ahmad away from the club will find such tactics futile against the Easdales. They are here to stay and it will be a brave man who tries to change that by using the same deplorable tactics used against Green and Ahmad. I think you will find the ringmasters of mob rule at Ibrox will be a lot less vocal about the Easdales than they were about the men from “another country” as their beloved messiah called them. As we have been reminded lately, boys from the West of Scotland don’t scare easy… Clark#
