The Obamacare promises just got a brand new asterisk… We all thought when President Obama said if you liked your health coverage and your doctor, you could keep them – period – that it was pretty plain what that meant. We’ve since learned that it meant you could keep your policy -- IF the Obamacare law doesn’t force insurers to cancel it – which it probably does. Then came the next shock: because of so many doctors opting out of Obamacare due to government interference, paperwork and low reimbursements, chances are your current doctor won’t accept your new policy. So doesn’t that break the promise that you can keep your doctor? No, according to top Obama health adviser Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel. He told Fox News’s Chris Wallace that no if you want to keep your doctor, you can: just pay more for a platinum policy. You know, I believe this is the first time I’ve ever heard a doctor basically say, “Let ‘em eat cake.”
