The Outstanding Youth Award will be presented to The Attic Youth Center member Daniel Callahan, a senior at Northeast High School. The 17-year-old has been a key figure in the center’s Safe Schools Tool Kit. “He was really instrumental in putting that together within his own school and being a true educator on LGBTQ issues,” said Carrie Jacobs, executive director of The Attic. “He has been a leader at The Attic and in his own school community.
