The Republican floodtide of criticism of Obama is racially driven. - TopicsExpress

The Republican floodtide of criticism of Obama is racially driven. There is no other rational explanation. When one analyzes the attacks one-by-one it is apparent how unsubstantial each is. But taken together the Republicans somehow suggest they rise to making Obama the worst president in history! Consider the Republican complaints: 1. Obamacare. The Affordable Care Act, as it is actually called, was a Republican proposal first drafted by the Conservative Heritage Foundation, and enacted in Massachusetts by Romney. Under Obama, the Republicans call it socialized medicine! 2. Benghazi, Libya. The attack on the American mission there resulted in four US deaths. Nevermind that the Republicans themselves cut funding for security at embassies, it occured under Hillarys watch, she is likely running for president, so its Obamas fault. A hundred times as many casualies were sustained in attacks on US embassies under Republican presidents! 3. Jobs. The Republicans are constantly decrying the lack of jobs in America, conveniently not mentioning that the Republicans in Congress have never proposed, supported or voted on a jobs bill. 4. The Economy. Republicans operate on the notion that that the public has a short memory. Obama inherited the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression. The Bush administration launched us into two unfunded wars, slashed taxes on the wealthy and big business, created offshore tax havens and crippled the US auto industry, and doubled the national debt. Since assuming office, Obama has cut the deficit in half! The most generous thing that can be said of Republican criticism of Obama is that it is nothing more than transparent political theater. But the hyperbole, hatred, and vitriol with which it is delivered betray their real motive: A Black man is in the White House!
