The Rotary Club of Makati South has signed a memorandum of agreement with Tacloban City Mayor Afred S. Romualdez for the construction of a medical clinic for the underprivileged and the residents of Barangay 91 in Abucay, Tacloban City near the bus terminal with donations from Rotarians from Japan and other parts of the world. Shown signing the MOA in simple ceremonies yesterday in Abucay, Tacloban City with Mayor Romualdez were Lakan Fornacier (standing, left), and Barangay 91 Chairman Ricardo R. Benitez, Rotay Club of Makati South President Yuppy Claros, Tacloban City Councilor and First Lady Cristina G. Romualdez, Louie Vega, past president of the Rotary Club Makati South, City Architect Danny Fuentevilla, (standing, right), and Bobon Topacio, incoming President of Rotary Club of Makati South. Topacio told Mayor Romualdez that the Rotary Club is committed to build a world-class medical clinic as its contribution to the recovery efforts for the Yolanda disaster.
