The Toll Group is not just funding junkets for media and politicians and pushing to profit from asylum seeker tent cities in Nauru -- it is also taking on its Australian workforce. Transport workers at Toll are fighting to stop outsourcing and the undercutting of their wages. These Transport Workers Union - TWU members are fighting for job security in their enterprise agreement but Toll are refusing to budge. Over the last couple of years Toll has gone from nearly 100% permanent employees to less than half, with the company outsourcing to contractors who pay their workers far less. Workers begin their ballot in support of protected industrial action today. Let’s give these TWU members a hand!
