The Workforce Recruitment Program for College Students with Disabilities (WRP) will be recruiting at Lynn University this year! WRP is a recruitment and referral program that provides college students and recent graduates with disabilities with the opportunity to work in the public and private sectors through summer or permanent jobs all over the country. Interested and eligible students should plan to attend one of the information sessions scheduled for Wednesday, October 2nd, at 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. in the Green Center. The sessions will be approximately 30-minutes in length. These sessions will provide details on the application and interview process and general program details Students may also complete the first step in the process by registering for the program via https://wrp.gov/registerstudent. This can be done before attending an information session. Interviews will be by phone and will be conducted by our WRP Recruiter at the end of October/beginning of November. Applicants for the program must: • have a disability AND • be a U.S. citizen AND • be enrolled in an accredited institution of higher education on a substantially full-time basis (unless the severity of the disability precludes the student from taking a substantially full-time load) to seek a degree OR • be enrolled in such an institution as a degree-seeking student taking less than a substantially full-time load in the enrollment period immediately prior to graduation OR • have graduated from such an institution within the past year (December 2012 or later).
