The beauty of handspinning! Take a look at this mesmerizing video of one of the teachers of our intro to spinning with a drop spindle class coming up in January. I love watching this gentle dance of wool, wood, and hands. Class attendees will learn this art using locally sourced wool, and will go home with their own drop spindle and enough wool to stay busy spinning! We will open registration for this class soon within the next couple of weeks, PLUS I am thrilled with how many other wonderful classes and events are coming to fruition over the coming weeks and months (were even looking out into April now!). Keep an eye out for new additions. Its so good, folks. And where was this shot? At the Spinners and Weavers Guild in Waterloo! It was such a pleasure to be welcomed by the truly lovely ladies there today and soak up some of their creative expertise. It is a fantastic organization, and I highly recommend checking it out!
