The day starts at 6:30 am, our male staff show up to clean terraces while the coffee is brewing. The kitchen has become the coffee room, the living room is the office and tool storage shed. The days plan is discussed over coffee and coffeecake around the kitchen breakfast bar. Its not even 7:30 yet and already theyve left to check that all is well in one house where we have a check-in around noon, and after that theyll finish up the prep on another place before the owner arrives this afternoon. Low season is not slow season for Capis Property Management, its a different kind of busy - checking and repairing everything that hasnt been used much over the last several months, deep-cleaning the homes, and washing curtains. Busy as well taking care of the issues that come up with the places where we do have guests - a/c units are the #1 problem here, this climate was not made for air-conditioners, the salt just eats them up despite preventive measures.
