The environment within institutions of higher learning such as the UFS require a student body composed of a leadership that is proactive, authoritative and committed to the interests of students. There need not be any confusion around this point. In times of contradiction it need not forsake the number one principle which is to represent and in times of consensus need not rest on its laurels believing that it has an ally in the form of management.
