The events of the last few days left me with a soaring blood pressure. I prayed last night and surrendered everything to God. This morning my blood pressure has gone back to normal. As I reflected on these things I repented before God for displeasing Him by not trusting Him. Indeed there are situations in life,......mundane things of life, that seem hopeless and impossible in the natural. In the minds of Mary and Martha their brother Lazarus was dead and there was no other way about it but to mourn and wish that Jesus had been there. They had faith to believe that Jesus could have prevented the death but not that He could raise him from the dead! Are there Lazarus situations in your lives? Are there things that you have accepted are impossible? Remember what Jesus said in Luke 18:27. What is impossible with man is possible with God. Think of the most impossible thing in your life. God can! He can defy the law of gravity or any laws of nature for that matter because He made those laws. He can turn water into wine. Think about that, scientists. He can change atoms from one to the other. Water is just hydrogen and oxygen. Where did the other atoms come from to make wine? Philip was instantly physically transported from one place to the other in an instant ........... to mention but a few. When we finally get it into our hearts and minds that there is nothing impossible for God then we will learn to trust Him and live one day at a time and not worry about tomorrow. Let us keep trusting the Lord and lean not on your own understanding. Our own understanding becomes our enemy in the faith walk because it is limited to what we can see and feel . It is also limited to our equally limited experiences. When we are baffled about something we imagine that God is also baffled. tis so sweet to trust in Jesus, to take Him at His word, lean upon His promise and to know Thus says the Lord. Keep trusting, keep believing. Your Lazarus situation shall be resurrected!
