The fallen angels offer you a law of attraction, Jesus offered you his life. One has more value than the other! I firmly believe that most people who search for spiritual meaning in their lives are suffering from what I call an alchemical hangover. New Age literature as far back as 50 years ago began to inch toward ideas of intention and manifestation, along with many other concepts, repackaging beliefs that are in reality thousands of years old. Some of these books had considerable merit, but others were fluffy, trendy books without any real substance. There was no proverbial meat on the bone. Like alchemists’ stones of old, which were thought capable of turning base metals into gold, these books promised spiritual enlightenment using the equivalent of parlor tricks. The quest people have for spiritual enlightenment is real. I have referenced the frenetic pace of American culture many times in my book, and paradoxically many people who are fed up with their routines simply don’t know how to break out of their non-spiritual existence. The vibrations people felt in 2012-13 were very real, and there was great expectancy that mankind might be entering a new age because of planetary alignments. The fallen angels are very involved too. They offer the spiritual quick-fix. People definitely want to extract meaning from their lives, and what I propose with God is a way to manifest intentions that goes far beyond the simplistic “like attracts like” philosophy. It is a style of self-coaching that does not indiscriminately use marketing words such as inspiration, love, and positive thinking. It demands worth in Christ and God to protect our spirit and let us know the Holy Spirit for truth. It should be obvious by now that I believe spiritual advancement entails effort, specific rituals, and everyday actions in order to directly connect with cosmic energy.
