The following information has been shared by the Indian Community Cayman: Dear Friends, We will be celebrating Diwali on 2 nd of nov,2013 at the loyalla Hall in st.ignatius School. you all are welcome for celebrating our festival together and have a fun We are organising Essay competition and rangoli on this occasion. All the children are welcome and invited to participate in this competition. The children could use their creative skills to depict DIWALI on a sheet of paper. so take a pen , and write the essay and draw the rangoli free hand pattern on paper The following would help as a guideline: Subject of the Essay - Why we celebrate diwali festival? what is the significance of diwali,? why should we celebrate indian religious festivals outside the indian soil? essay should be short, in one page , any age are welcome to participate for both competition subject of the rangoli- any free hand pattern, design , what we do in diwali in india Things that can be used for rangoli--any paper, stones , beads, glitter , colors, flowers , rice ,sand anything you can use and decorate yr rangoli patttern , creativity will be admired While only two winner{each group } will be given a prize, every participant will get a prize just for participating. If your child does not participate in this competition, please note he/she will not be given any prize only dont forget to write your name and age The artworks should be submitted to me on or before 30 th oct .
