The following is the letter I wrote to contact all the pet stores around the world in order to (hopefully) have my series available in the local establishments. Feel free to share and comment. Re: “The Diary of Pink Pearl, A Bird’s Eye View” To Whom it May Concern: Im the author of the above trilogy about the life and adventures in 2012 with my Moluccan cockatoo that I was chosen to rescue on August 26, 2011. Its a nonfiction, true documentation about how I successfully rehabilitated her after 15 years of abuse and neglect and then I continued to document her life and adventures in my quadrilogy, The Diary of Pink Pearl Continues: Im Wide Awake and Born Again! There will be more to come in my 3rd ongoing series, The Diary of Pink Pearl: Kiss Kiss, America! in 2015. (The first 7 volumes are about her adventures and the development of our parrot rescue and then my intentions are to go on to publish other peoples success stories as well in order to support parrot rescues and sanctuaries around the world.) Please let me know what needs to be done in order to make my series available in your stores. Its of course, an international publication but my intentions are to replace Bird Talk Magazine since they are no longer in publication in the United States and there is very little non-fiction publications available to help parrot owners properly care for their feathered family in captivity.
