The foreign backed and Western preferred moderate, liberal and secular rebels in Syria desecrated churches and levied higher taxes on non-muslims in the city of Yabroud, liberated by the Syrian Arab Army on Mars 15. Whatever the label the West wishes to attach to these groups such as FSA, al-Nusra front, Islamic Front, Southern Front, Syria Revolutionaries Front, ISIS/ISIL or Army of Mujahideen in order to legitimize their armament of selected groups to fulfill their own ends theyre all the same. FSA and al-Nusra front together kidnapped the 12 nuns back in December according to video tapes and held them as hostages in Yabroud until their release last week. Ergo, theyre the same. On top of that, the rebels held food from the UN intended for the civilian population as hostage and forced civilians to pay for it. In addition to that, the rebels used the refugee camps in Lebanon as a safe haven. The battle for Yabroud is over, but its Greek Catholic church has been savagely vandalised by its former rebel occupants, its streets carpeted with cartridge cases, its houses smashed with shell holes. [...] Jabhat al-Nusra fighters forced the people in the town to pay high prices for the food they brought in. The Christians had to pay even higher prices as a tax because of their religion. And much of the food was UN humanitarian aid from across the border in Lebanon - presumably from the refugee camps in which supporters of the rebels have sought safety.
