The human will go away today and this is gonna be a Terrible Tuesday without a doubt. The noises are nearer now. Theyre putting up scaffolding now at the houses across the street and a couple of houses away from us they already started the actual work on the windows. The human asked one of the workmen if they were gonna do work on our house today that the human has to be.home for and the man said they might wanna do one thing, but if the human has to go away, it wouldnt be a problem and theyd do that thing tomorrow. The noises wont be less scary when shes home and she might even be adding to my stress with her own stress. So shes going. The human learned theres gonna be more things done on our house than what she already knew. Not only are we getting new windows and frames, the shed is gonna get a new lock and the front door is gonna be painted too. That means theres gonna be some time the front door has to be open and Dushi, Herman and I will be locked in the living room then too. Just like when the men are working on the windows upstairs. I threw up again last night. It was only a bit of slime, but this morning the human saw somebody threw up some food too and shes not sure, but she thinks that was me too. Its been a while since I threw up and if it stays with this, its not too bad. This morning I didnt come downstairs, but that has more to do with me being scared of the noises than with not feeling well. I came half way down the stairs and am still there now. I can still hear the noises, but at least I cant see anything there. The human brought my butter to me and scared or not, I ate that with the same enthusiasm as every morning. The human hasnt seen me eat kibbles yet this morning, but I may not eat until everything is quiet again. Maybe not even until the human is home again. Dushi doesnt seem to mind the noises at all. Its like she doesnt even hear them and shes taking a peaceful nap on the red Fatboy. It looks like shes gonna stay in for a while, cause the human suspects the work on our houses and the ones near is gonna take a while, and shes not gonna let Dushi out until theyre done. I hope Dushi will take it well. Herman is actually curious about where the noises come from. He runs from windowsill to windowsill to see if he can see anything from what the men are doing. Sometimes he scares a little by a loud noise, but seconds later hes back on the windowsill. The human hasnt seen Jinx yet today, but with the workmen and the noises so near, that was to be expected. What is a little strange is that it looks like he hasnt been here much all night. He was here yesterday evening when the human gave him his late night wet food, but he did even eat all that. And not many kibbles either. Were suspecting this for a while, but now again we think Jinx has another place to go to too. So today not only will the human be away all day, but there will be noises and strange men around the house, probably til late in the afternoon, too. I think this may become the most Terrible Tuesday so far. I hope itll go by fast and shes not even gone yet, but I already cant wait til the human is home again.
