The kindergarten class had a homework assignment to find something exciting and relate it to the class the next day. When the time came to give their reports, the teacher was reluctant to call on Johnny, knowing he can be rather crude. But eventually his turn came. He walked up to the front of the class, made a small dot on the chalkboard, and sat back down again. Teacher asked `Whats that?` Johnny said `A period.` Teacher asks `Whats so exciting about a period?` Damned if I know. This morning, my sister said she missed one. Then Daddy had a heart attack, Mommy fainted, and the man next door shot himself.`
