The lack of compassion that plagues society never ceases to amaze me. I was taking my dad to run some errands at Walmart. He was slowly making his way across the street in the parking lot when I hear the guy in the car waiting on him say out of his window Jesus could you move any slower?! Some of us have places to be! My dad suffers from severe arthritis and gout. His legs are stiff and swollen, some days he can barely shuffle along. On top of that he has stage four COPD and travels with an oxygen tank, so even if you cant tell about the other stuff, he clearly has tubes running to his nose! And hes the kind of person that, if he can make it out of the house, he wants to go with me. I dont care where youve gotta go or how much of a hurry youre in, you should be thankful to be healthy enough to be able to rush around the way you do. Have some consideration for those less fortunate because one day you arent going to be so young and karma might just take a huge chunk out of your ass. Fortunately for this guy, my dad didnt seem to hear him, so I didnt make a scene. But I gave him a glare that probably ate through a piece of his soul.
