The last class for the aspirants of the post of Record clerk of our organisation LIC was being handled at ATC, CBO 03 by mr.bhaskar....and i rushed to join him on saturday 29.3.14...at around 3.50 pm. what a variance in the composition of the class...here i am rushing from a class of teenagers(Rotary Youth Leadership Awards at Govt.Girls School,Doveton, Chennai) to address the class with a participant aged 56 years...still grappling to copy the typewritten text on to the paper given to him. But the inclination to learn, to convert their effort into success, to achieve what they have set out to achieve...was in no way less compared to the girls i addressed. several exercises were touched upon...arranging policy nos in ascending order, copying addresses of offices, branch set up, branch hierarchy, franking machine calculations, letter writing....bouncer for most of them...but the commitment and the resolve of these students (!!?) was evident with the earnestness with which they were learning.... myself and baskar, cbo 13 and the office bearers of AIIEA and all the other members sincerely feel all this effort should help them emerge successful in their endeavour...IF CROSSED, THIS WOULD BE A MAJOR MILESTONE IN THEIR CAREER...so folks..whoever is reading this, please do take a second to wish these employees get promoted by clearing this test.
