The martial arts world is full of Charletons who will say and do - TopicsExpress

The martial arts world is full of Charletons who will say and do anything to try and suck people into joining their organisation, so that they can make money. Ill qualify this statement with some interesting feed back that I received today from another martial arts school - GKR. GKR were harassing people at Mount Annan Shopping Centre trying to get them to sign up. They told one of my students that they should train with GKR instead of me, because they have more experience than me. My student laughed in their face. Interesting, a lot of GKR instructors are teaching after 6 months of training while wearing a black belt with a white stripe through it. Hence the saying, is that black belt really a yellow belt. This does not apply to all GKR instructors, but to many of them, particularly to the ones who knock on your door, or harass you at shopping centres. If someone is knocking on your door and asking you to train Martial Arts, do yourself a favour and find another school to train at. Many experienced martial artists referred to GKR when they talk of Mc Dojos. If you are a member of a GKR school, do yourself a favour and google, GKR review. I hold Dan grades in 5 different arts and teach 530 students. I think I have them covered. My qualifications and achievements can be found at: bujutsumartialarts.au/instructors
