The oligarchs and their puppets, Republicans have finally achieved what they have been wishing for since the 1930s. The new Congress is going to be a catastrophe for the environment and for those most dependent on everything from social security, safety and health protections for our food and work places, safety for our personal deposits in banks and financial institutions and Obamacare to social programs that provide some minimal protections from the worst impact of the competitive marketplace, not only for the poor and the powerless, but also for most of us in the middle class. If you get things that you desire, there may be unforeseen and unpleasant consequences. (Be careful what you wish for, lest it come true. and Be careful what you wish for; you may receive it. bp
