The opening performance of THE MAN FROM EARTH last night (Friday, - TopicsExpress

The opening performance of THE MAN FROM EARTH last night (Friday, June 13) at Homers Pier One Theatre on the Spit had a medium sized audience. At intermission and after the show, I overheard audience members discussing the story line of the play: (which is, in short form, what if a Paleolithic man just lived on, and on, and on, into this century? What if he survived the suspicions of those around him, who notice that he doesnt ever seem to get older, by changing jobs every 20 years or so?) I heard some audience members say, Well, anythings possible, I suppose. --a line used repeatedly by one of the characters in the play. THE MAN FROM EARTH was first a movie, and then a play. The film has some notoriety as a sci-fi cult classic. The play performs again tonight (Saturday) and Sunday. Show time is 7:30. Reservations at 907-235-7333; Advance tickets at The Homer Bookstore. Tickets also at the box office outside the Spit Theatre starting about 45 minutes before show time. Thanks, Lance Petersen
