The pain and disappointment flows through her words. I - TopicsExpress

The pain and disappointment flows through her words. I understand how she feels. I am sure that making this video wasnt easy but she is holding him accountable to the role of being a father. It is the most important & liberating part of the healing process (as much as a daughter can heal). When we have heard all of the excuses Felt the emptiness in our chest that we have so eagerly tried to fill with countless methods of darkness When we are tired of being expected to accept him & his actions as is despite how they damage our souls repeatedly When all he does is selfishly disappoint us, break our heart while living life for himself THIS is the result. It is not colorful, it is not pretty. It is not easy. This is pain, this is sorrow... BUT in the ridged, painful hole in our hearts under all of the lost hopes, dreams, memories, sweat, and tears there is resilience. When we locate resilience at the bottom of our hearts, underneath it all, deep down it envokes an array of feelings. Some of these feelings are uncomfortable, some feel indifferent, some enable us to breathe a sigh of relief; all of these are very powerful. These feelings are all useful tools in our toolbox that we need for the healing process. These feelings as uncomfortable and painful as they can be shine light on our self worth, our ability to love and be better parents, the strength we possess to break the cycle, to heal and to above all seek and demand positive change. Kuddos to this woman for sharing a small piece of her healing process with the world. #truthdroppedlikeagrenade
