The poet Robert Frost was an early admirer of Andrew Wyeth, having first encountered Wind from the Sea in the living room of Mead Art Museum director Charles Hill Morgans home. On July 2, 1953, Frost wrote to Wyeth, saying You and I have something in common that might almost make one wonder if we hadnt influenced each other, been brought up in the same family, or been descended from the same original settlers. Frost also declared that in Wyeth he saw a spirit I can help thinking kindred to mine. Andrew Wyeth: Looking Out, Looking In runs through November 30: 1.usa.gov/1m9vU7h.
